Terms and Conditions

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS:

  • All appointments will last for the specified duration purchased: i.e. a 60 minute treatment will last 60 minutes.

  • All clients must complete a consultation form prior to their first treatment and will receive up to 10 minutes consultation included within their appointment.

  • Treatments will only be conducted if I deem the treatment safe for the client to receive.

  • GP / Consultant permission may be required before treatments can be provided.

  • Parking: It is the client’s responsibility to be able to provide or advise parking prior to booking an appointment. Time spent by the therapist trying to find suitable parking, if not warned in advance by the client, may be deducted from total treatment times.

  • Treatment Space: Tessa Rose Massage has the right to cancel a treatment without notice if the room or environment is deemed unsuitable for the treatment to be provided


CANCELLATION POLICY:

To ensure my consistent income, I kindly ask you to give me at least 24 hours’ notice when you need to cancel or re-schedule your appointment. This allows me to offer your appointment time to someone else and saves me from charging you. Cancelled or re-arranged session with less than 24 hour notice will be charged for at full price.

The best way to contact me if you need to re-schedule or cancel your session is by calling or texting me on 07983611194. If there is no answer, please leave me a voicemail. I don’t check my emails regularly when I work.

I have the right to cancel a treatment without notice if the room or environment is deemed unsuitable for the treatment to be provided, or if I am taken ill.

I have the right to cancel a treatment without notice if the client appears to be intoxicated or inebriated, or if the client displays any inappropriate behaviour.

I commit to rearranging treatments to a new time and date within two weeks of the cancelled treatment, if possible.


PAYMENT:

Payment for the full amount payable is due after treatment. You may pay by cash, BACs transfer on your phone or by using my card machine. Please note, my card machine adds a £1 fee. In case of a cancelled - or missed - appointment, then payment is due on receipt of your invoice and payments are accepted by BACs, or you can drop cash through my door, making sure your name is on the envelope.
 

REFER A FRIEND SCHEME:

If a new client tells me that you referred them to me, then you will receive £5 off your next massage, and they will receive £5 off their first massage too.

Note that only one discount can be used per treatment. The new client must have booked, paid and received their second treatment before you will be sent the coupon. There is no limit to the number of coupons you can receive, so refer as many friends as possible.

GIFT VOUCHERS:

Gift vouchers are non-refundable but may be transferred and used by other people if wished. They expire after 1 year unless Tessa Rose Massage has ceased trading prior to that date.


MEDICAL CONCERNS:

When booking a treatment, you must inform me of any medical conditions via my pre-screening form, prior to your appointment. If you have any uncertainty you must seek medical advice from your doctor. A consultation form must be completed at the time of your first booking. If anything has changed since then, you must tell your therapist before your treatment.

Please be aware that some conditions will mean that you cannot have certain treatments and you may not be able to have a treatment that day or your therapist will suggest an alternative treatment. This will not be discounted.

 

INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOUR:

I have the right to terminate a treatment immediately if the client demonstrates inappropriate or sexual behaviour. Payment will be collected for the full treatment price, regardless of how early into an appointment it is terminated.

If I am unable to collect money before you leave, an invoice will be sent to the client’s address.

All invoices must be paid within 7 days of issue date.

 

PRIVACY:

  • Client treatment details will not be discussed with anyone other than the client, unless the client is under the age of 18 or has a care worker or guardian.

  • Consultations will only be discussed with the client, unless the client is under the age of 18 or has a care worker or guardian.

  • Consultation Forms and treatment notes will be kept on file, securely by Tessa Rose Massage.

  • All clients must complete a consultation form prior to receiving their first treatment.

  • By signing the consultation form, clients are giving Tessa Rose Massage permission to hold records and data about them.

  • Personal information will not be shared with any third parties. Go here for more information on my privacy policy.

 

YOUNG CLIENTS:

Clients under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The adult and client must both give permission for the treatment to be performed. The adult must co-sign the client’s consultation form. The adult must be present in the room throughout the treatment.

 

INSURANCE AND ETHICS:

Tessa Rose Massage is registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). Tessa Rose Massage abides by the Code of Conduct and Professional Practice provided by the CNHC. Tessa Rose Massage is fully insured through Balens.
