As always, your health and wellbeing is very important to me and even though covid restrictions have been lifted in most settings, covid hasn't disappeared. I want to reassure you that I will still be taking the following precautions in order to avoid transmission of covid:

• Ventilating and cleaning the room between appointments

• Changing the couch roll after every client, and providing fresh pillow cases

• Wearing a mask when a client requests it

• Continuing to take regular lateral flow tests - if I am feeling unwell or have a positive result from a lateral flow test, I will cancel appointments and endeavour to rebook them when I am sure I am well and non-infectious

• Asking clients to continue bringing their own towels/drapes but of course can provide one if necessary

• If you are feeling unwell (persistent cough, fever, headache, sneezing etc) or worried that you've come into contact with the virus please do not hesitate to contact me by text or email. I will then cancel and rebook your appointment, waiving my normal cancellation fee until further notice.

You are no longer required to wear a mask, but I support all clients who continue to wear them.

What to bring

 

Please bring the following with you if possible:

• Water bottle

• A drape/large towel/wrap/sheet/sarong to cover yourself with during the treatment. Please let me know if this is not possible so I can provide a drape for you.

• Warm socks if you are prone to getting cold

• Face covering if you prefer to wear one.

I would also advise you to go to the bathroom before you set off for your massage. My bathroom is available to be used, but if we could avoid you using it, it will keep 'traffic' to just one part of the house. 

 

When you arrive

 

Please arrive on time for your appointment as there is currently no waiting facility at my home clinic. I  will come and meet you at the door to reduce unnecessary contact with surfaces.  

 

When I wear a mask

I am very happy to wear a mask during your treatment, please ask me on the day or via text before you arrive. For vulnerable clients, and anyone else requests it, I will wear one from greeting you at the door and throughout the entire treatment. I can also wear nitrile gloves. I will change the nitrile gloves after each client. Please be assured that the use of gloves will not effect the feeling of your massage and they contain no latex. Please let me know in advance of your session, or during your session, if you would like me to wear them.

 

Cleaning, Disinfection and Ventilation

I am still leaving time between clients (minimum 15 mins) to ensure that all surfaces in the treatment room are disinfected and the room is ventilated thoroughly. This may mean that the room is slightly cooler than preferable so, although I will try and keep you toasty with my heated couch, please bring a warm pair of socks if you're prone to being cold.
